Job summary

A luxury wellness company in Muizenberg, Cape Town is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to maintain financial records and support office operations. The ideal candidate has proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero, strong organizational skills, and a high attention to detail. This role requires onsite work in a vibrant environment with diverse responsibilities such as inventory control and processing supplier invoices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero.
  • Strong understanding of purchase order and supplier invoice processes.
  • Familiarity with inventory and stock management.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Bookkeeper / Office Administrator – Onsite (Muizenberg, Cape Town)

Location : Muizenberg, Cape Town

Position : Full-time, Onsite

Start Date : December

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping functions
  • Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Raise and process Purchase Orders
  • Receive, capture, and reconcile supplier invoices
  • Work with QuickBooks and / or Xero accounting software
  • Coordinate with courier companies to book and track parcels
  • Assist with inventory control and stock takes
  • Support general office administration as required
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero
  • Strong understanding of purchase order and supplier invoice processes
  • Familiarity with inventory and stock management
  • Comfortable handling courier logistics and parcel bookings
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable, organized, and proactive
  • Must be able to work onsite in Muizenberg (this is not a remote role)
