Job summary

An international equipment supplier based in Claremont, Cape Town, is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to manage the full accounting function. The ideal candidate should possess an accounting degree and 2-4 years of experience in bookkeeping, with proficiency in QuickBooks Online. You will oversee tax compliance, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation of accounts. This is a permanent, in-office position offering competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• At least 2-4 years proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an SME environment.
• Experience in the import and export sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting function up to Trial Balance.
• Prepare VAT Reports and handle Tax compliance.
• Process invoices, payments, and monitor accounts.
• Reconcile bank accounts and assist with logistics.
