Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate needs to be available immediately (Temporary contract).

Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant qualification such as a Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping Certificate, or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or Pastel)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Capture supplier invoices and ensure timely payments
  • Prepare and process customer invoices and credit notes
  • Reconcile bank statements, cashbooks, and petty cash
  • Assist with stock reconciliations and costing reports
  • Prepare VAT submissions and ensure tax compliance
  • Support monthly management reporting and year-end audits
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper financial controls
