Bookkeeper position available in Stellenbosch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • General Bookkeeping
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    • Record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
    • Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
    • Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
    • Manage petty cash and handle payroll processing.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Generate financial reports for management review.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
    • Provide financial insights and analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and standards.
    • Assist with tax preparation and filing.
  • Software Proficiency
    • Utilize MS Office Suite for various accounting and reporting tasks.
    • Manage financial data using EzyWine software.

Requirements:
