Bookkeeper position currently available in Johannesburg.

We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions up to trial balance.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in using Sage Pastel, highly organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full function bookkeeping to trial balance
• Processing of invoices, payments, receipts, and journals
• Bank and creditor reconciliations
• VAT submissions and general ledger maintenance
• Assistance with payroll and statutory submissions (if required)
• Preparation of reports for management

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping role
• Proficient in Sage Pastel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
