Key Responsibilities
  • Processing of daily, monthly, and annual accounting transactions
  • Capturing and reconciling bank accounts, debtors, and creditors
  • Bookkeeping through to trial balance
  • Preparation of VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns
  • Payroll processing (experience with EMP reconciliations and generating IRP5 certificates is a plus)
  • Maintaining accurate accounting records and filing systems
  • Assisting with management accounts and financial reporting
  • Liaising with clients in a professional and efficient manner
  • General bookkeeping and administrative support as required
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in accounting / finance or relevant bookkeeping certificate (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 2–3 years bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Own transport and valid driver's licence – might be required to travel to clients occasionally
  • Willingness to work extended hours if deadlines require
