Job summary

A dynamic outsourcing firm is looking for detail-oriented and proactive bookkeepers to join their remote-first outsourcing team. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping for U.S.-based clients, ensuring precise transaction recording, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reports. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in accounting, familiarity with cloud accounting platforms, and strong communication skills in English. This position offers growth and exposure to international business practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Experience with international clients or in a BPO environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry and transaction recording.

We're looking for detail-oriented and proactive bookkeepers to join our growing outsourcing team.

At KloofX, you'll support international clients.

Primarily U.S.-based accounting firms, by managing their day-to-day bookkeeping needs with precision and professionalism.

This role is remote-first and fast-paced, offering growth and exposure to international business practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate data entry and transaction recording using cloud-based accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements.
  • Maintain general ledgers, accounts payable / receivable, and payroll as required.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare supporting financial reports.
  • Communicate regularly with client-side managers and adapt to their internal workflows.
  • Maintain data security and confidentiality standards at all times.
Skills and Competencies
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting workflows.
  • Familiarity with cloud accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online, Xero, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 1–2 years experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role (internships acceptable for junior applicants).
  • Experience working with international clients or in a BPO environment is a plus.
