About the Role: We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid bookkeeping experience across multiple companies, excellent organisational skills, and a thorough understanding of VAT, Xero, and Excel. You'll play an integral role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the finance team to ensure smooth month-end procedures.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Maintain the general ledger and process all financial transactions accurately on Xero
  • Process supplier invoices, perform payment runs, and reconcile accounts payable
  • Raise customer invoices, manage receivables, and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Oversee and review debtors and creditors ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile intercompany loan accounts
  • Prepare and post standard and payroll journals
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations
  • Review trial balances for correct allocations
  • Ensure all monthly deadlines are met for month-end cut-off
  • Prepare management reports as required
  • Perform general office and ad hoc administrative duties
Requirements :
  • Certification in Bookkeeping (or equivalent qualification)
  • Minimum of 2 years' bookkeeping experience (preferably managing multiple companies)
  • Strong understanding of VAT
  • Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
