Job Title : Boilermaker Supervisor

Report to : Operations Manager

Seniority Level : Mid Career (4 - 6 yrs exp)

Region : Gauteng

Location : JHB - Eastern Suburbs

Type : Contractor

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and monitor the performance of pipe fitters to ensure production and quality targets are maintained

Control and coordinate all allocated site Boilermaking activities

Deploy manpower according to the scope of work and production plan

Provide proactive solutions to problems related to equipment

Write technical reports and ensure documentation compliance

Participate in setting up and maintaining QA / QC systems

Monitor safety procedures and ensure equipment control

Coach learners and artisans, conduct performance appraisals

Qualifications

Certification in HIRA, RCAT, Construction Safety Training, and relevant Boilermaker Trade Test

Supervisory certificate would be advantageous

Minimum of 5 years experience in a Boilermaker / Mechanical Fitter / Pipe fitter role with 2 years in a supervisory capacity

Grade 12 with English, Maths / Science / Technical Drawings.
