Job summary

Placements24 seeks a qualified Boilermaker and Welder to join our fabrication and maintenance team in Vereeniging. The role involves construction, repair, and maintenance of metal structures, pressure vessels, and piping systems, using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

The ideal candidate will read fabrication drawings, measure and cut with precision, and uphold strict safety standards in a Gauteng industrial environment. Overtime may be required; tools and safety equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Boilermaker with a recognized trade qualification.
• Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in multiple welding processes and ability to read fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures and components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
