Job summary

South African National Blood Service is seeking a Blood Bank Supervisor to oversee Blood Bank Technicians/Technologists and ensure daily operations meet required standards and procedures.

The role requires HPCSA-registered Biomedical Technologist status, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and patient safety. Based in Berea with occasional travel within SA.

Qualifications

• HPCSA-registered Biomedical Technologist required.
• Permanent position with a South African qualification in biomedical technology.
• Exposure to blood bank operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Blood Bank Technicians/Technologists and manage daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with required standards and procedures in the Blood Bank.
