About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Blockchain Solutions Architect to join their growing technology team based in Centurion. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of sophisticated blockchain solutions that meet complex business requirements. You will engage with stakeholders across the organization to understand needs, translate them into technical blueprints, and guide development teams from concept to deployment. This position is ideal for a visionary leader with a profound understanding of blockchain technology and its potential applications across various industries, working within a collaborative office environment in the heart of Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end blockchain solutions, including platform selection, integration strategies, and security design.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate blockchain technologies, frameworks, and tools for specific business needs.
• Develop technical roadmaps and implementation plans for blockchain projects.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to define functional and non-functional requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept projects for new blockchain initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software architecture or solutions design, with at least 3 years focused on blockchain technology.
• In-depth knowledge of various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda) and their architectures.
• Strong understanding of smart contracts, distributed ledger technology (DLT), and cryptographic principles.
• Experience designing secure and scalable enterprise-level applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
