Placements24 is seeking a highly specialized Blockchain Security Engineer to safeguard our client’s crypto platforms in the blockchain industry. You will identify and mitigate vulnerabilities across smart contracts, dApps, and infrastructure to protect user assets and maintain system integrity.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security audits and penetration testing of smart contracts , dApps, and blockchain protocols.
• Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities and threats in blockchain systems.
• Develop and implement security best practices and guidelines for blockchain development and operations.
• Monitor blockchain networks for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents effectively.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures throughout the development lifecycle.
• Research emerging security threats and vulnerabilities in the blockchain space and provide proactive solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a significant focus on blockchain security .
• Proficiency in auditing smart contracts for common vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflow/underflow).
• Experience with security analysis tools and techniques for blockchain platforms.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and network security.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
