Placements24 is seeking an experienced Blockchain Security Consultant for a hybrid role based in Upington, Northern Cape. You will advise clients on securing blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts, and dApps, and lead security assessments across diverse platforms.

The role requires deep knowledge of Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Solidity, and related vulnerabilities, with a focus on practical risk mitigation and clear, actionable reporting.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Consultant, Penetration Tester, or Security Analyst with a strong focus on blockchain and smart contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of various blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana) and their security implications.
• Expertise in smart contract auditing, including languages like Solidity.
• Familiarity with common blockchain vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, 51% attacks, front-running).
• Experience with security testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of cryptography, network security, and system architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP) are a plus.
