About the Role

Our client, a prominent decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, is seeking a highly skilled Blockchain Security Auditor for a contract position. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth security audits of their smart contracts, blockchain infrastructure, and related systems to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities. This role requires a meticulous approach, deep technical knowledge of blockchain security, and the ability to provide clear, actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in Solidity and other relevant languages.

• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing blockchain systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) as a security auditor, penetration tester, or smart contract developer with a strong security focus.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technologies, including Ethereum, EVM, and popular DeFi protocols.
• Expertise in smart contract security principles and common vulnerability patterns (e.g., reentrancy, overflow/underflow, access control issues).
• Proficiency in Solidity and experience with security analysis tools (e.g., Slither, Mythril, Echidna).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex security issues and provide practical solutions.
• Experience with formal verification tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with cryptography and secure coding practices.
• Excellent written communication skills for reporting.
