Placements24 is seeking a Blockchain Data Analyst in Upington to extract, analyze, and interpret complex on-chain data. You will produce actionable insights to drive business decisions and collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to deliver reports and visualizations.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, understanding market trends, user behavior, and network activity within the crypto space. A data-savvy analyst with 2+ years experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data-related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of data analysis experience, with exposure to blockchain/crypto data.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools (Python with Pandas, R).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Metabase).
• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and transaction explorers.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and transform data from blockchain sources (on-chain, APIs, databases).
• Analyze blockchain transaction patterns, network activity, and token flows.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends for stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities and risks based on data analysis, providing strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data collection and storage processes.
