About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and insightful Blockchain Data Analyst to join their growing analytics team in Port Elizabeth . This role is crucial for uncovering actionable insights from complex blockchain data, helping to inform business strategy and product development. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data from various blockchain networks to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within the Crypto & Blockchain ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset and a passion for understanding the data-driven landscape of decentralized technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various blockchain networks (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin).


• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key blockchain metrics and trends.


• Identify and interpret patterns in transaction data, network activity, and token economics.


• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.


• Conduct deep dives into specific areas such as on-chain activity, DeFi protocols, or NFT markets.


• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all analytical outputs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.


• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with demonstrated experience working with blockchain data .


• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy), SQL, or R.


• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.


• Understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the Crypto & Blockchain landscape.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
