Role Description

Some work-from-home will become acceptable after the induction and training phases are completed and you are settled into the role. The Company Representative will be responsible for maintaining and expanding customer relationships, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Tasks include managing customer accounts, conducting regular customer visits, delivering product presentations and providing training on product usage. Additionally, the role involves continual communication with customers to address their needs and concerns and collaborating with internal teams to enhance service quality.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for science, a strong sales personality, and the drive to achieve targets. We are small and dont have a CRM and all the latest tools and systems so the person should be an independent worker with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in biotechnology research with a strong focus on Microbiology
  • Sales experience, ideally within the biotech, chemical, or laboratory sector
  • Willingness and ability to travel within South Africa as required
  • A background in Food Science

Office hours: 8:00-17:00
