Job summary

JV Human Capital seeks a Compliance Specialist to manage statutory compliance across the group and support the Group Company Secretary. The role covers developing risk management programmes, training staff, monitoring compliance, and reporting to management.

The ideal candidate holds a law degree or related honours in risk management/internal audit, with at least two years of relevant experience and bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a law degree or an honours degree in Risk Management / Internal Audit, or a CPrac designation from the Compliance Institute of South Africa.
• At least two years' relevant experience.
• Must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all entities comply with statutory provisions, King IV and applicable compliance principles.
• Develop, implement and maintain group compliance risk management programmes.
• Provide training on objective law and assess attendees.
• Monitor compliance in line with South African law and other applicable jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with Assurance Services to monitor and report compliance status.
• Report to management and the Social and Ethics Committee, supporting the Group Company Secretary.
• Assist with transactions and administrative tasks for the Group Company Secretary.
