Overview

We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence (BI) Data Modeller / Developer to design, build and support enterprise‑level Microsoft BI solutions. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, technical expertise and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.

As a BI specialist you’ll play a key role in shaping and optimizing our data landscape, driving data integrity, accessibility and business value. You will work across the full BI lifecycle: from requirements gathering and data modelling to implementation, testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to identify and define data and reporting requirements.
• Perform data analysis profiling and dimensional modelling (Kimball methodology).
• Design and implement ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics.
• Build, optimise and maintain SSAS Tabular Models and Power BI datasets.
• Develop compelling data visualisations and dashboards using Power BI, applying data storytelling principles.
• Produce technical documentation including functional specifications and source‑to‑target mappings.
• Participate in unit testing, QA and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects and analysts in an Agile environment to deliver scalable BI solutions.
