Job summary

Absa Group in Johannesburg is seeking a BI Data Analyst to support the business through development and maintenance of accurate information and analysis of available data. You will provide valuable insights and support to drive data-driven decisions across environmental and business reporting.

Working in a hybrid setup, you will validate dashboards, collaborate with stakeholders and continuously improve reporting quality and impact for sustainability and performance across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in data analysis, business intelligence, sustainability reporting or data governance.
• Experience with large and complex datasets from multiple source systems.
• Experience developing, reviewing or maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the monthly collection of environmental sustainability data from internal and external data providers.
• Review data submissions for completeness, consistency, reasonableness and accuracy prior to inclusion in reporting systems and management reports.
• Validate dashboards and reporting visuals to ensure figures reconcile to source data and approved reporting outputs.
