Job summary

Optential Consulting is seeking a Quality Control Technologist to perform QA testing on raw materials, in-process products and finished goods within a beverage production environment.

You will support the Quality Assurance Manager, maintain the Quality Management System, and ensure regulatory compliance through sampling, testing and thorough documentation.

You will collaborate with production and warehouse teams to uphold product quality and food safety across the value chain.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials (concentrates, dry ingredients) and packaging components against specifications.
• Collect samples for laboratory analysis as required.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent contamination or deterioration.
• Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with and coach production and warehouse teams to maintain quality standards across the value chain.
• Daily product quality inspections and analysis per the Minimum Mandatory Sampling Plan (CO2, DO, alcohol, NTU, Brix, pH, volumes, organoleptic and seam analysis).
• Collection and dispatch of samples to external laboratory (Vinlab).
• Daily maintenance of the Product Retention sampling system.
• Daily verification of measuring equipment.
• Daily identification of non-conforming stock and update of write-off reports.
• Maintain accurate records of all quality control tests, inspections, and audits.
• Report on daily conformances and nonconformances.
• Participate in GMP/PRP audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
