Kerndoel van die pos:

Die ontwikkeling van modelle en verslae wat operasionele en strategiese besluitneming kan verbeter. Die identifisering van bedryfsbehoeftes en skakeling met die IT-afdeling. Verleen ook deurlopend bystand om verslagdoening te verbeter in ‘n vinnig veranderende omgewing.

Minimum Vereistes:

• Com of B. Rek graad met voltooide klerkskap;
• 5 Jaar of meer ondervinding in ‘n finansiële- / IT- / verslagdoeningsomgewing;
• Vorige ondervinding in ‘n Agri-besigheidsomgewing sal voordelig wees.

Vaardighede:

• Sterk belangstelling in die ontleding van data, besigheidsintelligensie (BI) en verslagdoening;
• Goeie analitiese vermoë;
• Goeie verhoudinge en kommunikasievaardighede in beide Afrikaans en Engels;
• Vaardig in BI programme soos Microsoft “Power BI” en die gebruik van Microsoft “Visual Basic” in Excel verslagdoeningsapplikasies;
• Vorige blootstelling rakende sagteware ontwikkeling in COBOL en die IBM-i bedryfstelsel (sal voordelig wees maar nie vereiste).

Verantwoordelikhede:

• Die identifisering en ontleding van bedryfsbehoeftes en beskikbaarstelling van verlangde data deur skakeling met die IT-afdeling;
• Die ontwikkeling van modelle en verslae vir gebruik deur bedryfsafdelings;
• Die skep en interpretasie van data wat strategiese en operasionele besluitneming kan verbeter.

Developing models and reports that can improve operational and strategic decision‑making. Identifying business needs and liaising with the IT department. Providing ongoing assistance to improve reporting in a rapidly changing environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Com or B.Accounting degree with completed articles;
• 5 years or more experience in a financial / IT / reporting environment;
• Previous experience in an Agri‑business environment will be advantageous.

Skills:

• Strong interest in data analysis, business intelligence (BI) and reporting;
• Good analytical ability;
• Good relationship and communication skills in both Afrikaans and English;
• Proficient in BI programs such as Microsoft “Power BI” and the use of Microsoft “Visual Basic” in Excel reporting applications;
• Previous exposure regarding software development in COBOL and the IBM‑i operating system (will be advantageous but not required).
