Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Beautician with strong nail skills to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be versatile across a wide range of beauty services, able to deliver exceptional treatments, and committed to client satisfaction.

Experience in advanced aesthetic treatments such as IPL laser hair removal, slimming, or device facials will be a significant advantage.

General Beauty Therapy

• Perform a variety of facials, tailored to client skin types and concerns.
• Carry out professional waxing (face, body, intimate) with attention to detail and client comfort.
• Provide eyebrow shaping, tinting, and lash treatments (lash lifts, extensions, tints).

Nail Services

• Offer full manicure and pedicure services, including cuticle care, exfoliation, and massage.
• Apply gel polish, acrylic, tips, overlays, and nail art with precision.
• Provide aftercare advice and product recommendations for nail health.
• Maintain a hygienic and well-organized nail station.

Advanced / Aesthetic Services (Advantageous)

• Perform IPL laser hair removal safely and effectively.
• Conduct body contouring, slimming, and cellulite reduction treatments.
• Deliver advanced facials (microdermabrasion, device-based facials, chemical peels).

Client Care & Business Support

• Build long-term client relationships through excellent service and professionalism.
• Advise clients on home care routines and recommend appropriate salon products.
• Assist with reception duties including bookings, scheduling, and payments.
• Contribute to salon promotions, social media content, and upselling of services.
• Ensure treatment rooms and equipment meet hygiene and health & safety standards.

Requirements

• Recognized Beauty Therapy qualification (minimum Level 2 / 3 or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a beauty salon or spa environment.
• Skilled in core beauty services (facials, waxing, brows, lashes, body treatments).
• Proficient in nail services (gel, acrylic, overlays, nail art).
• Excellent knowledge of skin types, nail care, and general beauty practices.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused personality.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Flexible team player with willingness to learn and adapt.

Desirable / Advantageous Skills

• Experience with aesthetic treatments such as : IPL Laser Hair Removal, Slimming and Body Contouring Treatments, Advanced Skincare Therapies (device facials, microneedling, chemical peels).
• Massage therapy skills (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone).
• Knowledge of retail product sales and beauty package promotions.
