ARC Store, an up‑and‑coming cosmetics retailer, is offering an exciting opportunity for a driven, tech‑savvy, and ambitious individual to join the Johannesburg team as a Beauty Consultant within our retail store.

Purpose of the Role
The purpose of the role is to provide an exceptional client experience to maximise sales and profitability; to ensure that operating standards are executed and maintained, and to build and enhance the retailer brand image.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise turnover, profit and productivity: achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Assist in setting up and driving sales at events, launches and retailer activities.
- Provide timely feedback on sales/customer‑related issues or concerns.
- Brand Management: monitor competitor activity, stay up‑to‑date with current industry trends.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards according to retailer requirements at all times.
- Adhere to and maintain brand standards at all times.
- Stock Management, Merchandising and Store Operations: ensure stock is merchandised according to guidelines, report out‑of‑stocks to line manager daily, manage stock levels, prevent loss and implement operating procedures and policies.
- Asset control and security.
- Point of Sale operations.
- Customer Experience: provide an exceptional and consistent client experience, uphold client‑journey standards, build relationships, inspire confidence, provide cosmetic services, demonstrate products, share tips and current trends, provide a personalised, educational experience, and drive increased customer database.
- Teamwork: collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, support events, assist new team members with onboarding, maintain consistent standards, and live the company values.
- Administration: complete daily tracking sheets, implement CRM processes, provide retail reports and updates.

Requirements / Qualifications
- Matric certificate.
- At least 3 years cosmetics experience (make‑up, skincare and fragrances) within a retail environment.
- Make‑up artistry experience is advantageous.
- Certificate in Beauty / Make‑Up is advantageous.
- Must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge and current industry trends.
- Must be a team player, an active learner and problem‑solver.
- Must be willing to work weekends and shifts as required.
- Must have own transport.
