Job summary

WesBank is seeking a Branch Universal Advisor to deliver compliant banking solutions in a busy POP branch. You will assist walk-in and existing customers with sales and service while guiding them to digital/self-service options.

You will need a Grade 12 or higher, with FAIS/TCF knowledge and 1–3 years’ customer-facing experience in financial services. The role emphasizes ethical service, accuracy, and ongoing personal development.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
• Preferred qualification: NQF Level 5 FAIS-recognised certificate

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in a positive and professional manner in a high-volume branch setting
• Educate customers on banking platforms and migrate to digital/self-service channels
• Cross-sell and upsell appropriate banking and financial solutions
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently while meeting service benchmarks
• Manage leads, referrals, and follow-ups within agreed timelines
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure FAIS, FICA, TCF and governance compliance

Education

Grade 12 / NQF Level 4

NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related fields recognized by FAIS

Strong understanding of FAIS and TCF principles

Sales and customer-service mindset

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
