About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Bank and Cash Clerk to join our finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately managing daily site cash and bank transactions and ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • Process and record site cash and bank transactions, including receipts and payments.
  • Perform daily and monthly site cash and bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain relations with site teams and liaise timeous submissions from site.
  • Resolve discrepancies and queries on transactions.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support the finance team with various administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Matric / Grade 12 with accounting. Accounting certificate/ accounting diploma.
  • Previous experience in finance department or accounting role is required.
  • Proven experience with reconciliations and dealing with multiple site teams.
  • Proficiency in Sage and Orbfusion is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
