Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Software Engineer Backend for a remote contract role. You will design and implement scalable backend services and APIs, focusing on performance, reliability, and code quality.

Ideal candidates bring strong backend experience across languages such as Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, Typescript, Python or C++, plus a track record of building scalable services. You should be comfortable debugging, optimizing performance, and performing automated testing and code reviews.

Position: Software Engineer Backend

Type: Contract

Compensation: $30 - $100/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
