Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, test and maintain scalable backend applications and services, collaborating with frontend, architects, DevOps and product teams to deliver reliable solutions that meet business requirements and provide excellent user experiences.

You will build RESTful APIs, ensure data security and performance, and contribute to code quality, reviews and CI/CD workflows using Git, Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT or related field.
• 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong experience building backend apps and APIs.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and data modelling.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and containerization is advantageous.

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our technology team and take responsibility for designing, developing, testing and maintaining scalable, secure and high-performance backend applications and services.

The successful candidate will work closely with frontend developers, solution architects, DevOps engineers, product teams and other stakeholders to build reliable solutions that support business requirements and deliver an excellent user experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
  
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services .
  
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable and well-documented code.
  
• Design, develop and optimize databases and data-access layers.
  
• Integrate backend systems with third-party APIs, applications and services.
  
• Implement appropriate authentication, authorization and data-security controls.
  
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application and production issues.
  
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing and performance testing.
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
  
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure effective API and system integration.
  
• Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, deployments and production environments .
  
• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  
• Contribute to system architecture, technical documentation and solution design.
