• Develop and implement strategies for integration and optimization of security technologies across the airport.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of security infrastructure and procedures.
• Monitor security system alerts and incidents; coordinate responses with security personnel.
• Prepare detailed reports on system performance, incidents, and recommendations for enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT, vendors, and regulators to ensure compliance and interoperability.

About the Role

Our client, a leading international airport operator, is seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient Aviation Security Systems Analyst to join their security operations team in Midrand, Gauteng, ZA . This role is essential for the strategic implementation, management, and continuous improvement of advanced security systems that safeguard airport operations, passengers, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security technologies, risk assessment, and data analysis within the aviation context. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT departments, security vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure system compliance and interoperability.
• Stay abreast of emerging security technologies, threats, and best practices in the aviation industry.
• Develop and deliver training programs to security staff on the effective use of security systems.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of airport security policies and procedures within the Midrand operational framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Information Technology, Criminology, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in security systems analysis, cybersecurity, or risk management, preferably within the aviation or transportation sector.
• Strong knowledge of physical security technologies, network infrastructure, and data analysis techniques.

• Must be a South African citizen or possess valid work authorization and be able to work on-site in Midrand with hybrid flexibility.
