Job summary

A leading aviation training organization is seeking an Engineering Technician based at their Aviation Training Academy in Gauteng, South Africa. The successful candidate will manage the acquisition and maintenance of components and systems to support training, with specific qualifications required in Electronic Engineering and computer networking. Candidates should have at least three years of related experience and relevant technical skills.

Qualifications

• National diploma qualification in Electronic Engineering (M 3) granting admission to the Engineering Council of SA as an Engineering Technician or Technologist.
• Computer Networking qualification from an approved institution.
• 3 years' experience in operation, maintenance, and support of ATS simulators and systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee acquisition of components and systems according to specifications.
• Provide inputs for budget compilation and monitoring.
• Ensure maintenance of engineering components for training purposes.
• Evaluate and improve client services continuously.
