Placements24 in Kimberley, Northern Cape, is seeking a skilled Composite Repair Technician for our aviation repair and overhaul facility. You will diagnose damage, perform repairs, and fabricate composite structures to exacting standards, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a technical qualification in composite materials technology or aerospace technology, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience repairing aircraft composites.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in composite materials technology, aerospace technology, or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience repairing aircraft composites.
• Ability to read and interpret composite repair manuals and engineering drawings.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and assess damage to composite aircraft structures.
• Perform repairs including bonding, layup, curing, and scarf repairs.
• Fabricate composite parts and structures as required for repairs or modifications.
• Read and interpret CRMs, drawings, and specs; follow approved repair schemes.
• Maintain safety and quality per regulatory requirements.
