Job summary

The Bermuda Airport Authority invites motivated applicants to join our team as an Air Traffic Engineering Technician. You will support operation and maintenance of communications, navigation, surveillance, and related systems, carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance, installations, and tests.

Requires an Associate Degree or City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Electronic Engineering, and at least two years of relevant experience; aviation industry background and ILS/RADAR/VOR/DME

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience.
• Experience in aviation industry and in ILS, RADAR and/or VOR/DME systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections, performance tests and maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Report unusual occurrences to Maintenance Coordinator.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
• Assist with on-the-job training programs.
• Notify Maintenance Coordinator of unserviceable equipment and spare parts needs.
• Complete installations of systems, equipment and data processing tools.
• Ensure all ATE equipment operates to users’ satisfaction.
