An automotive dealership is seeking a motivated salesperson to manage inbound and outbound customer traffic, maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a professional demeanor. The mission of the salesperson is to maximize and support % of all inbound (Showroom, Phone, Internet Opportunities) and outbound (Sold Follow-up, Un-Sold Follow-up, Prospecting, and Service Opportunities) customer traffic, while maintaining the highest possible level of customer satisfaction. By his or her impression, the image of the dealership is portrayed. This position requires an individual with excellent people skills.

High school diploma or the equivalent; ability to read and comprehend instructions and information; previous sales experience, preferably automotive sales; a professional appearance and customer‑oriented attitude; excellent interpersonal and telephone skills; well organized and self‑motivated; knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing retail.
Sitting: Remaining in seated position. Standing: Stand for long periods. Walking: Move around the facility and grounds. Handling: Seize, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hands. Reaching: Extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Crouching: Bend body downward and forward. Far Vision: Clarity at 20 feet or more. Depth Perception: Three‑dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships. Talking: Convey detailed spoken instructions. Environmental Conditions: Work outside in weather and inside a climate‑controlled environment. Demonstration Drives: Salespersons accompany customers on drives; customer must be accompanied at all times, and driver’s license must be photocopied before beginning a drive.
All salespeople must keep themselves and their work area neat and clean. Excellent hygiene and grooming are a must. A company polo or shirt and tie are required for all men; business professional attire is required for all women. Clothing must be clean, pressed, and shoes shined. No eating at desk area.
A positive mental attitude is essential. We will not speak negatively about co‑workers or anyone else. If we suspect a co‑worker has a negative attitude, we will help them reset and improve.
