About the Role

Our client, a renowned automotive performance tuning and modification center in Vereeniging, Gauteng , is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Automotive Performance Specialist . This role requires an individual with expert knowledge in engine tuning, performance upgrades, and diagnostic assessment of high-performance vehicles. You will be responsible for enhancing vehicle power, handling, and overall performance through meticulous modifications and tuning. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of engine mechanics, modern ECU programming, and a flair for achieving optimal results for demanding clientele in the Vereeniging area.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ECU remapping and tuning for various vehicle makes and models to optimize performance and fuel efficiency.
• Install and configure aftermarket performance components such as turbochargers, exhaust systems, suspension upgrades, and braking systems.
• Conduct dyno testing and analysis to measure power output, torque, and diagnose performance issues.
• Troubleshoot engine performance problems and implement effective solutions.
• Consult with clients to understand their performance goals and recommend appropriate upgrades and tuning strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of modifications, tuning parameters, and test results.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in automotive performance technology, tuning software, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Experience with engine dynamometers (dynos) and data acquisition systems.
