The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing of electrical components on trucks, trailers and ancillary equipment.

Key Performance Areas

Repairing, maintaining and servicing of all electrical components of trucks and trailers ensuring all assets are always in safe and roadworthy condition.

Conduct quality checks on repaired Trailers and trucks to ensure highest standards are maintained.

Examine and diagnose defects correctly and take appropriate corrective action.

Ensure job cards are filled in correctly and submitted.

Adhere to company policies and procedures, HSSEQ, housekeeping and customer standards always.

Aid on basic mechanical repairs when required.

Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues where applicable.

Qualifications Required

Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum of 1 year related experience.
• Strong knowledge of 12v and 24v electrical systems.
• The applicant must have a valid Code B driver's license, but a code EC with PDP will be preferred.
• Reliable transport.
