Job summary

DataFin Recruitment is seeking a CAD Quality Coordinator to join an engineering team in Cape Town. The role involves ensuring compliance of CAD models and drawings with company and customer standards and contributing to the ongoing improvement of CAD processes.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in CAD design using software like Siemens NX, Solidworks, or similar, alongside strong communication skills and a passion for automotive engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of 3D/2D CAD experience with mid-to-high-end CAD software.
• Experience in design and integration of automotive components.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and AI-enabled tools for CAD quality control.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CAD models comply with standards and quality requirements.
• Review engineering CAD models and drawings for adherence to standards.
• Provide feedback to engineers and contribute to process improvement.
• Assist in training team members on engineering standards.
