Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Body Shop Manager for a Paarl facility. You will oversee daily shop operations, lead technicians and painters, and ensure high-quality repairs while maintaining customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in collision repair, and the ability to manage parts, inventory, and vendor relationships. A focus on safety, profitability, and exemplary service is essential.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years in automotive body repair with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Thorough knowledge of collision repair techniques, materials and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with insurance claim processes and documentation.
• Proficiency in managing workshop operations and estimating software.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily operations of the automotive body shop, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient repair processes.
• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of body repair technicians and painters.
• Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and customer expectations.
• Manage parts inventory, order necessary supplies, and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, handling inquiries and resolving issues.
• Oversee adherence to safety regulations and workshop cleanliness.
• Monitor financial performance of the body shop, including profitability and budget management.
