Placements24 is seeking an experienced Automotive Body Repair Technician to join their collision repair centre in Bloemfontein. The role involves delivering high-quality bodywork on a range of vehicles, assessing damage, performing structural repairs, and preparing cars for painting.

You will work with a team of skilled professionals, use frame straighteners and welding tools, and be committed to meeting timelines while maintaining manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Body Repair Technician or Panel Beater.
• Proficiency with welders and frame straightening equipment.
• Solid knowledge of automotive structures and repair techniques.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and determine the most effective repair methods for collision damage.
• Perform structural repairs using frame straightening equipment and other specialized tools.
• Repair or replace damaged body panels, including doors, fenders, hoods, and trunk lids.
• Skilled in metalwork, including panel beating, welding, and finishing techniques.
• Prepare repaired areas for painting by sanding, filling, and priming surfaces.
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and industry quality standards.
