Placements24 is seeking enthusiastic individuals in Welkom to join as Automotive Apprentice Technicians. This apprenticeship provides hands-on learning across diagnostics, servicing, and repairs with guidance from master technicians.

You will train in a fast-paced workshop, gain practical skills, and have a clear path to becoming a qualified automotive technician within the Free State.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) with Maths and Physical Science preferred.
• A passion for automobiles and desire to learn automotive mechanics.
• Willingness to commit to full apprenticeship and learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with vehicle diagnostics, inspections and maintenance.
• Perform routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake checks.
• Learn to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.
• Disassemble, inspect, and repair engine, transmission, and other systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and manage tools and equipment.
• Document work performed accurately in the service management system.

About the Role

Our client, a reputable automotive service center in Welkom , is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join as Automotive Apprentice Technicians . This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to learn all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair from experienced master technicians. You will be involved in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, gaining practical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, professional workshop environment. Key Responsibilities
