AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
BTech Degree Electronics / Programming and/or relevant qualification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
EXPERIENCE
3 to 5 years relevant and/or similar experience in a similar role, in Automotive Manufacturing or Manufacturing technical training, programming , Robotics Kawasaki/Mitsubishi.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process Analysis – analyse existing process to identify opportunities for automation and improvement
- System Design and Development – Design, develop and implement automated systems and processes using various tools and technologies
- Testing and Validation – Thoroughly test and validate automation systems and processes using various tools and technologies
- Trouble shooting and Maintenance – Troubleshoot and maintain existing automation infrastructure, addressing any issues that arise
- Documentation – create and maintain documentation for automation processes, ensuring clear communication and understanding
- Collaboration with cross functional teams to identify automation need and solutions
- Conduct regular system performance assessments make recommendations for optimisation
- Performing cost benefit analysis to justify automation investments
- Generate reports on automation project performance and results
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Integrate automation systems with other systems or analytical tools
- Provide maintenance and production technical support
