Qualifications

• 5+ years in mainframe operations or batch scheduling.
• 3+ years managing enterprise automation in production environments.
• Solid knowledge of z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, REXX, JES2/JES3.
• Working proficiency with IBM automation tools (SA z/OS, NetView, TWS).
• Hands-on experience with Broadcom/CA tools (AutoSys, CA OPS/MVS, CA Workload Automation).
• Proven in production troubleshooting, incident resolution and DR testing.
• Relevant IT qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.

The Role

As a Senior SA Automation Specialist at Kyndryl, you will design, implement, and support high-performing enterprise automation and workload scheduling solutions within large-scale mainframe environments. Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in mainframe operations, systems programming, or mainframe batch scheduling.
• 3+ years of expertise managing enterprise automation solutions in mission‑critical production environments.
• Solid technical knowledge of mainframe essentials: z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, REXX, and JES2/JES3.
• Working proficiency in IBM automation tools (System Automation SA z/OS, NetView, IBM Workload Scheduler / TWS).
• Hands‑on experience with Broadcom/CA tools (AutoSys, CA OPS/MVS, CA 7, or CA Workload Automation).
• Proven track record in production troubleshooting, incident resolution, and disaster recovery testing.
• Relevant IT qualification or equivalent hands‑on technical experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Hands‑on experience in automation framework design and event‑driven monitoring integration.
• Exposure to modern DevOps methodologies, orchestration, and enterprise IT service management (ITSM) tools.
• IBM or Broadcom/CA mainframe product certifications.
• Demonstrated initiative in leading process optimization and automation modernization projects.
