Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, program, and commission PLC-based control systems for industrial machinery and processes.
• Program and integrate industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB) for various automation tasks.
• Develop user-friendly Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial networks (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
• Perform root cause analysis on automation system failures and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers during the design and build phases of automation projects.
• Develop and execute testing and validation plans for automated systems.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in automation design and implementation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for existing and new automation solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
• Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text) for major platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley).
• Experience with robotics programming and integration.
• Familiarity with HMI/SCADA software platforms (e.g., FactoryTalk View, WinCC).
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
