Overview

AUDIT TEAM LEADER

Ndemex Consulting is seeking qualified Audit Team Leader who is passionate and enthusiastic about auditing to join the dynamic Ndemex team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the team through the entire audit process, review audit reports with an eye on quality, thoroughness, and accuracy.
  • Understand the client's industry and deliver exceptional service by providing quality audit reports.
  • Coordinate audit activities.
  • Ensure that team members adhere to work plan schedules as per deadlines.
  • Communicate audit status reports to management daily.
  • Supervise audit team to ensure quality and on-time delivery of audit reports.
  • Evaluate performance of audit personnel and provide appropriate feedback.
Qualification Requirements and Desired Experience
  • Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Internal Auditing/ Accounting or Financial Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Fully ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent will be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience preferably as an Audit Team Leader.
  • Experience in a specialized area of audit including specialized certifications preferred.
Professional / Technical Competencies
  • Understanding of audit principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Business acumen and demonstrated ability in delivering to agreed projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of IFRS and IAS accounting standard.
  • Experience in managing teams and client relationship development.
  • Able to work well under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
