Join an established accounting and audit team as a talented and effective Audit Supervisor who excels in both service delivery and technical proficiency. You will be at the heart of building meaningful client connections while working seamlessly with a diverse and high-performing team. This role will be based in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of SAICA/AGA Training contract – Audit and Assurance
  • Minimum of 1 (one) year post article experience
  • Excellent knowledge of ISA’s, auditing standards, IFRS and IFRS for SME’s
  • Working knowledge of SAICA, IRBA and other applicable professional codes of conduct
  • Knowledge of IT systems including MS Office and Caseware (working knowledge)
  • Must have played an active role in being a senior trainee to junior trainees while doing Training Contract
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken) in English and Afrikaans

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Ensure that the Audit team complies with policies, audit approach, auditing standards and regulations, identify and address mitigate client engagement audit risks
  • Provides client with sound Professional advice and support
  • Manage delivery of audit work done by the team to clients and partner
  • Creates opportunities to drive impact
  • Plan and schedule audit engagements
  • Ensure audits are completed on time
  • Review and assess completion of audits
  • Integrate best practices into the audit programs
  • Lock down files on time
  • Nurture and guide team members and shares expertise and knowledge on an ongoing basis
  • Provide guidance to audit teams

Salary: Market related
