Job summary

A growing audit firm in Stellenbosch is seeking an Audit Senior or Supervisor. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Accounting and have completed SAICA articles, preferably with AGA(SA) or CA(SA) registration. Responsibilities include managing client portfolios, performing audits, and supervising trainees. The role offers full-time office work with a competitive salary range of R300,000 to R500,000 per annum, providing exposure to a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or SAICA accredited degree.
• Completed SAICA articles.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, IFRS, ISA, and taxation.
• Experience auditing legal practitioners' trust accounts is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Audit Manager with planning and execution of audit engagements.
• Perform preliminary review audit work, including trust account audits.
• Manage client relationships and communicate directly with clients.
• Supervise and train first- and second-year trainees.
• Manage audit timelines and deadlines across multiple engagements.
