  • Experience managing large and complex audit portfolios
  • Strong exposure to listed and/or large private entities (sector dependent)
Responsibilities
  • Lead and sign off on statutory audits in accordance with IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, ISAs, and the Companies Act
  • Ensure full compliance with IRBA standards, quality control (ISQM 1 & 2), and ethical requirements
  • Oversee audit planning, execution, review, and finalisation for complex and high-risk engagements
  • Act as Engagement Partner on key clients
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on audit, governance, risk, and regulatory matters
  • Manage client portfolios, including fee negotiations and engagement economics
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within audit and assurance services
  • Contribute to firm-wide growth strategies and cross-selling of advisory/tax services
  • Represent the firm at industry events, client meetings, and professional forums
  • Ensure effective risk management across the audit portfolio
  • Manage independence, conflict checks, and engagement acceptance processes
  • Address audit quality findings, internal reviews, and regulatory inspections
  • Lead, mentor, and develop audit directors, managers, and professional staff
  • Drive a high-performance culture, including succession planning
