Overview

Our Associates play a broader, more strategic role than traditional actuarial positions. While they rely on the same technical foundations statistics, modeling, and risk analysis they apply them to business strategy, analytics, and problem‑solving across industries.

As an Associate, you'll work directly with senior leaders to diagnose business challenges, design data‑driven solutions, and implement strategies that drive measurable change. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role that blends quantitative excellence with commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead analytical workstreams within client projects, delivering insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and interpret financial, statistical, and business models to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement actionable solutions.
  • Translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Support clients through transformation and change initiatives across sectors such as financial services, healthcare, and energy.
  • Present findings and recommendations to executive‑level audiences with confidence and clarity.
Job Experience and Skills Required
  • Education: 8+ ASSA exams
  • Experience and Skills:
    • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving skill
    • Self‑driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative consulting environment
    • Willingness to travel for client engagements where required
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (R, Python, SQL, Power BI, etc.) an advantage
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills able to simplify complexity for diverse audiences
