A leading food and beverage manufacturer in Johannesburg is seeking an Assistant Transport to ensure vehicle maintenance and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a matric or equivalent qualification, a valid driver's license, and at least 2 years fleet experience. Responsibilities include reporting defects, refueling vehicles, and assisting with breakdowns. This full-time role requires good organizational and communication skills. • Ensure all pre and post trip inspections are removed from books in trucks and placed in file organizer in store.
• Be available to assist with breakdowns (after hours).
• Ensure all vehicles are refuelled on a daily basis.
• Assist Transport Technical Assistant with minor repairs and breakdowns.
