Job Summary

The Assistant Traffic Manager plays a crucial support role within the agency, assisting the Senior in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of creative and digital work. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Traffic Manager will work closely with the creative, content, and strategy teams, supporting the Senior Traffic Manager while also managing specific clients independently. Key objectives and accountabilities :

Support Senior Traffic Manager in managing workflow and ensuring efficient task allocation across the Creative, Content, and Strategy / Digital departments. Assist in maintaining internal traffic processes, from briefs to project planning and deadline management. Oversee and track project progress, ensuring seamless handover between resources during workflow. Communicate effectively with internal teams, keeping all stakeholders informed about project status. Review creative briefs to ensure they are clear and complete; elevate any issues to the Senior Traffic Manager. Identify potential project roadblocks and proactively assist in resolving them. Update resource schedules daily, ensuring projects are accurately allocated and deadlines are met. Manage resource schedules in collaboration with HODs, considering leave requests and workload distribution. Maintain awareness of timings and deadlines to keep projects on track. Develop a solid understanding of the creative, strategy, and content processes to efficiently traffic all tasks. Foster strong relationships within the agency, ensuring effective collaboration across departments. Support the Senior Traffic Manager in driving the Chase platform to optimise workflow management. Assist in managing new business and pitch processes, ensuring smooth coordination and administration. Actively seek ways to improve processes, optimise workflow, and enhance efficiency within the traffic function. Take ownership of assigned clients, ensuring their projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and communication remains consistent. Provide administrative and coordination support to the Senior Traffic Manager as required.

The performance will be deemed satisfactory when: Tasks are efficiently scheduled, and deadlines are met; Creative, content, and strategy teams receive well-checked briefs with clear instructions; Workflows remain smooth with minimal delays and disruptions; Projects are completed on time and within budget; All relevant stakeholders remain informed of project statuses; Chase system is effectively utilised with accurate reporting; Efficient communication is maintained across all jobs; Assigned clients receive consistent and high-quality traffic management support; Timesheets, if applicable, are captured correctly and on time.

Ideal Background : Education

Preferred Diploma or related qualification in Digital Marketing, Project Management, or similar field.

Business English Experience

Minimum of 1‑2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a digital/marketing/advertising agency; strong project management is an advantage. Experience in Chase is required! Innovative and AI approach to improving efficiencies.
